BA Theatre Arts Degree Requirements

The general education/core curriculum requirements for this program are defined by the College of Liberal Arts. A Major in Theatre Arts for the BA Degree requires 38 hours of theatre arts courses, including:

14 hours of theatre electives 
Note: 8 credits of DANC can be applied to the BA Degree – with no more than 4 credits of dance technique classes (DANC 151-154, DANC 251-255, DANC 351-355, DANC 451-454)

In addition to the core curriculum and theatre arts requirements listed, the BA in theatre requires elective hours chosen from any area, including theatre arts, to bring the total number of credits to 120 semester hours.

Students pursuing a BA in Theatre Arts must also have a Minor.
