Paul Kennedy Places Third in the National KCACTF Barbizon Award for Theatrical Design Excellence in Lighting Design Competition

Congratulations to Paul Kennedy for placing third in the National Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Barbizon Award for Theatrical Excellence in Lighting Design Competition for his design of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee recently held at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Students placing first and second in the competition were graduate students making Paul's accomplishment all the more impressive!

Previously Paul has won the KCACTF Region IV Award for Theatrical Design Excellence in Lighting Design, placed second in the Southeastern Theatre Conference Undergraduate Design Competition for his designs of Boy Gets Girl, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Urinetown and received Barbizon Award nominations for his designs of Six Characters in Search of an Author, Urinetown, The Complete History of America (Abridged), and Distracted.
